This one is very interesting. Is an autobiography by Amy Gray who was a real life private investigator. In this book she documents her cases, crazy co workers, and her life. This book is in a novel form not in a biography format. Very smooth, zany, and hilarious at times!

I was a tad disappointed. This seemed more of a "whine fest" or demonstration of how ept the author is about picking boyfriends (or friends for that matter) instead of focusing on her life as a private investigatory. Still, there are times the book is very interesting and it does offer a pick into exactly how unglamorous such a career can be (despite some very colorful co-workers). I even found myself laughing out loud in a few places. The book is worth the read if you are interesting in "spy girls," just don't expect that to be the main focus of the narrative.
This book is a memoir written by a gal who made her living as a private detective for 3 years. Can be funny and also has some swearing in it.

Great insight and amusing anecdotes about life in New York city in the late 90's and the author's adventures as a private eye.

A good book. Part sex in the city... part computer information private eye.
A pretty good fantasy read about a girl who quits her boring job to plunge into the life of a spy.

This book is so fun! If you didn't want to be a girl spy before, you will now!

This book was okay. Gray starts off warning you that the life of a private eye isn't as exciting as people think, and she definitely proved it. She spent little time talking about events relating to her job because most of it was searching computer databases. It felt like the book mainly dealt with her life outside of work (boyfriends, nights at clubs, etc.). She also talked a bit about her inter office relationships. It was entertaining enough. I would have liked a few more anecdotes about being a P.I.
