Like the other books in the series this was and amazing book. You get so connected with the girls and feel there pain and other emotions. i reckomend this for all ages and an inspiring book for girls
Spring Pearl's parents have died and she must leave and go to live with wealthy Master Sung and his hostile household. She wonders if they will ever accept her? She is very talented and resourceful and it's interesting to find out what happens at each turn of events. The city of Canton is attacked by the British and many changes are in store for the family. If you have read others in the series this is worth reading as well.
