Really enjoyed this one. A look at the history of the planet of Vulcan as well as the Vulcan people, running parallel to a story involving Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. I love when Star Trek novels deal with real-world issues, such as racism and xenophobia, and this book does not disappoint. Highly recommended for Star Trek fans.
For those Star Trek fans, who haven't read this book, I would recommend it to you. It has a fascinating look at Spock's home planet. As far as Star Trek books go, it is well written in comparison to many.
In the 23rd centruy, on the planet Vulcan... a crisis of unprecedented proportion may rip the Federation assunder. Vulcan's ruling council summons Vulcan's most famous son home in its hour of need. Can Spock resolve his inner conflicts and loyalties to win the day?
If you're a Spock fan then this is a MUSt read.
