Very Good Book- I hated putting it down. Pirates, smuggling, scandal and romance all tied into one.

From the moment she found the stranger washed up on her shore, Damaris knew her life would never be the same. For though he claimed to have lost his memory, rumors of pirates in Rhode Island's waters abounded, and Damaris could not dispel her fear that Jonathan had a violent past.

When Jonathan Sparhawk finally came to, he was face-to-face with a prim-looking Quaker dressed in widow's weeds. Yet there was more to Damris Allyn than met the eye, and Jonathan was fast discovering the dangerous waters that lay beneath her calm exterior.
