Sexy Matt IS well Sexy!
From outlandish people to a son that likes Babs..
to parents..in thier 60's..becoming swingers???
Rachel has her hands full...and enough material to do for her stand up comic routines.
Great quick read..funny read..and just enough hottness!
I hope to read more books by Sue Margolis.

This is British chick lit at its best. Sue Margolis, the author of bestseller "Neurotica," offers the dishy tale of stand up comic by night/house cleaner by day Rachel Katz, who realizes that the man she thought was "the one" is anything but that, and the right guy for her...well, just read and find out.

Book has some dry humor. I found myself laughing out loud more than once. The story of a middle aged woman determined to get what she wants.......does she get it??? Easy, fast moving, humorous read to answer that question.

Some days you just need to get away from anything meaningful and heavy and this is just the book to go there. Great chick lit.

I need to stop reading British authors as I rarely find books by them that I truly like! I thought I was going to like this, but had a hard time getting through the first 30 pages, so shelved it.

Funny British tale about Rachel, a stand up comic, and Matt Clapton, a washing machine repairman who appears in her life just when everything is going wrong - her boyfriend seems to have someone else, and her stand-up comic routine isn't working as well as it has in the past. It's a funny and sexy read!

I liked this book quite a bit. It's about a woman who is in a relationship that is ho hum, until she meets a washing machine repairman who turns her world around.

A striving stand-up comic attempts to juggle her boring boyfriend, her wedding-planning-crazed mother, her pregnant downstairs neighbor, and the hunky washing machine repairman she just met, all while prepping for her shot at the big time.

This really is an uneven book. Parts of it are very funny, parts very sexy, and parts just annoying as various characters make incredibly dumb decisions.

Rachel gave it all up to be a stand up comic. Her life is like a comedy except for in one area, her love life, till she meets the washer repairman.

I always give a book 100 pages. It took me 80 something pages to get into this book. I was struggling to get there. I found the book predictable and I could not wait for it to be over.
