This book was interesting but slow at times. The counterbalance of facts and vignettes is what makes the book work. The message is that every little thing we do sexually, whether it be a kiss or masturbation, is for the sole purpose of reproduction. I found it hard to believe that we have that little control over our bodies and impulses. By the end you are left thinking that everybody cheats. Granted, I'm sure a lot of people do cheat, but I doubt it's 99% like in this book.
