what a magical beautiful tale sarah beth durst has created. the narration was brilliantly given by caitlin davies. this was the kind of book that transports you right into the cottage, holding the spell books, snipping the vines, carefully walking on the steps, inside the cave with the water lapping, and looking upon creatures with antlers, blue skin, and multiple limbs. meeting caz, the sentient spider plant, is well worth the ride. i will never look at my own spider plants the same way again.
