Debut novel ....legal thriller. Fast paced, full of energy and suspense. Reminds us why we love to hate lawyers...but can't get enough of the courtroom drama when it's done this well.

Excellent courtroom drama, which is so detailed that you almost feel like you could be the lawyer who is defending his client. Well-told with wonderful character development; couldn't put it down.

I'm not generally big on legal thrillers but this one was quite good and the ending blew me over.

This is my first Siegel book and I loved it! If you like writers such as Grisham and Turow, you will like this writer. Takes place in San Francisco and involves greed, lust, revenge and murder. Some very unexpected twists too which I always enjoy.

It's very seldom that I carry a book with me while out and about just in case I have a moment or two more to read it - like a long line at the bank drive-thru, waiting to pick someone up, etc. By 2/3rds of the way through this story line, I did just that. I loved being able to 'witness' the court trial that was the main focus of the story. When the truth came out about who the murderer was, I was caught by surprise!
I will definitely search out more of the Mike Daley series to add to my reading list!
