A great followup to Enders Game. While Enders Game introduces you to the characters and realities of the novels world, Speaker for the Dead introduces you to the true depth that Card is capable, and really fleshes out Ender and many other characters.

This book is amazing. So very different from Ender's Game, but just as good if not better. It is an intricate story with great characters and a very interesting alien race.

After humanity commiting genocide against the buggers this was a super follow up. Couldn't imagine the story going anywhere else.

Speaker is often overshadowed by Ender's Game. And seeing how good Ender's Game was, it's understandable. But don't be disuaded--Speaker is a fantastic book in it's own right. While I enjoyed the series as a whole. The first two books are the ones I'd read over and over again. Don't expect the same Ender--I'll clue you in on that much--but enjoy this one for what it is--a great read.
