This book is so sad and depressing but still really true to human nature. Read it several times.
I loved this story so much that I wanted to name my daughter Lotte, after the heroine. It's the first great tragic novel of European Literature and a Romantic tale of unrequited love.
Can't go wrong. Quite depressing.
