A good book!
I really loved this series. A good one for young adults.
Here, David Eddings continues his bestselling "The Mallorean" in this story of ancient, opposing Destinies battling for control of a world and for the fate of all Gods and men.
Continuing on in the Mallorean Series. Another great book.
The fourth book of The Mallorean, David Eddings great fantasy saga. In this volume Belgarion and his party chase Zandramas through Mallorea, including the ancient civilization of Melcene, attempting to recover his infant son. A gripping tale, I've read this series several times and always enjoyed it!
The same jokes and needling were getting pretty old by this point. Likewise the 'repetition' of quest elements from the first quest explains a lot, but doesn't help the 'freshness'..
I fell in love with this book:) I will be posting the rest of the set:)

excellent series
At this point in the saga, I have to admit it's getting a bit tedious. It's endlessly light in tone (even when people are kidnapped, killed, etc...) the characters are cartoonish, and never seem to grow or change, no matter what's happening to them, gender stereotypes are rampant, and everyone just keeps questing along endlessly....
The first part of this, The Belgariad, also has nearly an identical plot to the second part, The Malloreon. It's like Eddings couldn't think of a new plot, so it's like, "hey characters, guess what, you're going to have to do it all over again!" Sigh.
