Not my cup of tea, I suppose. Hornby has a nice style in this book, but I found it difficult to relate to... I don't know most of the songs he describes. The premise is great, but the fact of the matter is that it sort of gets boring to read about why a song is great.

This is a decent book of short articles by one of Britian's best rock critics.

I loved the chapter on one of my favorite Ani Difranco songs (well, half a chapter.) BUT, this book, for the most part, bored me. Great writer. Not so great music. Well, no all.
