I loved the first book in this series, Azure Bonds. For me, this sequel was decent enough but I didn't feel as attached or interested in the characters. It felt like the more we knew about the mysteries surrounding them, the less I cared. Some parts of it felt tacked on, like a meeting with a love interest from Dragonbait's past.
