This book was well written and described the kind of emotions a person goes through when something terrible happens to someone very close to us.The book moves along and isn't boring. I felt the author dealt with a very difficult situation in a very honest way. It opens the door to all that a family goes through with a family member on drugs. I think this book is one that anyone would find interesting.
How would you react if your child had murdered one of your beloved family members? This is such a story. The reader discovers the pain that the mother is going through as well as the pain of the rest of the family. There is the clear picture of the child incarcerated & all that will mean for his future. How this family copes & how they all find redemption is a moving account that could easily have been written about a true family going through such a tragedy.
