I did enjoy this book. It's definitely worth a read, but I personally wouldn't buy it to own.

Ilaron was quite interesting. I wished there had been more about him and more written from his viewpoint.

At one point, about a third of the way through, I actually stopped and flipped to random pages to see if I could find some that did not have Denise's italicized thoughts, which had become so frequent as to become distracting. Also distracting was the overuse of the phrase "ever so slightly."

But, as I said, I did enjoy it, and, despite what I've said, I think I might actually would read it a second time (but not anytime soon).
