For those who are use to Catherine Palmer's Christian Romance, this is a secular book. If you'd like to read a christuan version of the story, look for "The Bachelor's Bargain". Either way its a great story, though this particular one has scenes between husband and wife. The scenes can be skipped over for the most part without interrupting the story line too much. Either way, its a great story.

Ruel, the Marquess of Blackthorn was definitely a dominant male but you had Anne Webster (a common housemaid!) who was more than a match for him with her wit and cleverness. Taking you through early ninteenth century England, to France, and the Americas, their story of tragedy, miracles, and love lead to a most satisfying ending. Sometimes Forever had parts that at times made me want to cry or just laugh out loud! I recommend this book to anyone who would like nothing better than to curl up with a great romance book!
