This is very well written to keep the reader interested to want to keep turning the pages faster and faster. I don't consider this a 'romance', to me it more of the genre mystery/thriller/suspense with all 3 included in this book.
People on an exclusive island begin dying mysterious, brutal deaths. Local animals begin behaving strangely. The local veterinarian and medical examiner team up to solve these weird cases before the vet becomes the next victim.

Markie & Declan are trying to figure out what is killing the inhabitants of Santa Martina - a disease, a weapon, or something else? Suspenseful and entertaining.
First time I've read anything by this author. I liked the book and will look for more of her novels.

Pretty good romance/mystery with a touch of the supernatural. Author has also clearly done some research on the habits and talents of natural wolves, and it shows in the writing of this book.
