This was not what I usually expect from this author but it wasn't bad.I do have to say that sometimes it's a little bit difficult to figure out who's point of view the story is being told from at that point, because the pov just switches. There were several times during the book when it took me a few sentences (or paragraphs) to realize the person telling the story was a different character. It was kind of confusing.I ended up liking the story overall but it wasn't as good as I expected from Patricia McKillip,I usually enjoy her books a lot more.Still, the story was good enough to hold my attention once I got into the book. So,overall it was a decent read.

I picked this up on a whim and found myself thoroughly enjoying it. The characters are
realistic so that the fantasy is in the story, not in the way the people react and behave. It was a fast, easy read, perfect for when you want something light but not mindless. I'll be looking for more of McKillip's books.

This book is about a family that lives in a village where fairies live. A young woman is just discovering the village bounderies that coexist with the fairy world, and that she is part fairy. Good easy reading!

Very good reading, "weaves" you right into the story.
