This is a challenging book. Obscene in every way it can be, and if you're religious, be prepared to be worked over. But I greatly enjoyed it. Recommended.

I gotta say...I LOVE me some Penn Jillette...His views on life, love, and religion are right up my alley...But...And this is a huge but much like my own...This book is a tough read...There are parts that I enjoyed very much and his writing is something to be in awe of...However, Sock is a book that is somewhat of a headache inducing nightmare of mishmashed ideas and should be read when you are in a quiet room with no other distractions...You will find that there are a ton of pop culture references and I LOVE the fact that the monkey does the narration...All in all I didn't hate it but I enjoyed "God, No" much more...

Got to get this book. Nice basic thriller that is really argument for atheism. Give it to open minded theists that don't get why you don't believe in their imaginary friend.
