This is the first book that I've read by Janie Carie. Although I did enjoy it, it's surely not one of my favorite books. I found some of the events to be quite unbelievable, but then again, I guess that's why it's a story. I did like the "happily ever after" ending & thought that Mrs Carie had good discusion questions at the end. I'd like to read some of her other books to see what I think of them. It is a quick read.

I enjoyed this book, but not nearly as much as her previous books. The characters were a little flat, but overall a quick and easy read.
