Snowblind
Author: Christopher Golden
The small New England town of Coventry had weathered a thousand blizzards . . . but never one like this. Icy figures danced in the wind and gazed through children's windows with soul-chilling eyes. People wandered into the whiteout and were never seen again. Families were torn apart, and the town would never be the same. — Now, as a new storm...  more »

Even though I read this one in a nice, warm home/building, when I would look out the window at the snow it would cause me to shiver every time. This book really did make you feel the cold. Probably a great summer book to help relieve some of the heat (didn't think of that until it was too late).
The story centers around a small town in New England. When a snow storm hits, it isn't a regular one. This storm brings with it creatures that are hungry... for us!
That is how the story starts. Right off it is crazy and things are happening and people are dying and then all of the sudden the storm ends and we flash 12 years into the future. Times have changed, people have moved on. Until another storm is predicted to hit and people start remembering what happening all those years ago. Strange things are happening and the town is suspending in fear.
For most part the book was great. It had lots of suspense, great characters and unusual creatures. The only part that failed for me was there was too many characters. You had to remember who was with who from the beginning and who got killed. Then the dead come back in the 2nd part and inhabit other people. It gets really confusing at times. Even so, it was still a cold and creepy story that I enjoyed up to the end.
