I really enjoyed this book. There were so many twists it kept me guessing to the end. It started a little slow, I couldn't put it down once I got into it.

A shocking, sexy tale. An intricate novel about four childhood pals whose friendships deteriorate into a nightmare of violence and chaos.

Unusual mystery story of a professor's wife's murder. But there are also many sub plots and strange characters. It's hard to put down once you get into the book. Incidentally, it was written by the son of Anne Rice.

This story is a wonderful, complex, psychological thriller that quickly sucks you in and keeps you reading. The characters are very nicely developed. The plot moves and drives this story along with unexpected twists and turns. It is a clever, intense tale of young people drawn together by secrets of both the past and present. The ending is both creepy and satisfying.

I had a hard time sticking with reading this book. The insight was good into some of the characters, but I just didn't buy the underlying drivers of the plot. It is an unexpected story; good in that regard - but lacking enough shaping force to get the reader compelled to continue reading. Did not try to compare his writing to his mother's (Anne Rice), but just on its own.

Son of author Anne Rice spins his own tale with appeal to a younger crowd.Snowbound on campus, friends find themselves to be pawns of a malevolent force.

This book was a good mystery - it kept me guessing until the very end. My biggest problem with it was the Gay Eroticism it involved. I'm just not into reading that kind of stuff and I didn't think that the description gave you enough information. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have requested it. I doubt I'll read anymore of his books.
