Carlotta Carlyle's old partner, Lieutenant Mooney of the Boston police, unfairly charged with brutality, asks Carlotta to find a hooker with a snake tattoo who can help clear him. aA teenager with a missing wallet and a split lip also asks Carlotta to help find his runaway girlfriend. Both investigations send Carlotta into Boston's Combat Zone and the dark alleys of the human heart.

I listened to the audio of this book and enjoyed it very much. I find Carlotta Carlyle an interesting character and I will continue with this series in the near future.
