I used to love to read Sandra Brown. This book showed me why I no longer care for her writings. I was so turned off by the repeated phrase with the F*** in it that I put the book down and gave it away asap. Now I am not a child or a prude but I pick up a book to be entertained not for the shock value--which I think was used in this book.
Sandra Brown is always a good read right down to the last word. Smoke Screen lives up to that reputation. Keeps you guessing.
You go to meet a friend(ex lover) for a drink. Go go back to his place for discussions. Than you wake accused of murder? What's going on here? Events are not what they appeared. Who can you trust?
