This book was an excellent resource for a road trip from California to Yellowstone. It is filled with photographs, history, examples of art work of the west. It fills in the gaps as you drive along the interstate and takes you off the main road to so many little towns filled with a history that is more than cowboys and indians.

This is a beautiful gift copy of the Rocky Mt States of Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. Te shows many colored pictures of the most beautiful site both inside and outdoor in these states. It also talks about how these areas were settled and by whom. The photography is spectacular; it 's a great book to read as I have done.I live in an adjacent State Utah and I have not seen these beautiful wonders.Three is much to see and so little time.Take an armchair tour and a warm drink of tea, hot cocoa or Coffee and Enjoy/
