This book of essays is a wonderful environmental book of insights. It's no "Poisonwood
Bible"( Kingsolver's best work I believe), but it's an easy, and yet an insightful work to
the wonders around us. I enjoyed the book due o its variety of essays from serious to funny and I love anything by Kingsolver.

I would so love to meet Ms. Kingsolver. She is one of my heroes (heroines sounds too drug-related). If President Bush read this, he would think she was committed to a mental institution. The truth hurts, but at least she shares it with us.

Thought provoking and timely even after nine years in print. Her wit keeps me paying attention to the important issues that she writes about.
