A very good book. It has some Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood moments. :O) The ending is a little ho-hum but the plot is very good and the progression is very well paced. The main romance is between Joe & Lila but we are entertained with a romance between Lila's best friend Pepper (I won't spoil the book by telling you Pepper's suitor) as well as the mending of the relationship of a newly acquired friend, Katherine.
The resolution of the "mystery" of the disappearance/suspected murder of Joe's wife is the only part of the book I found to be unfulfilling. It just seemed that the author put this to the back burner behind everything else going on. I think 1 more chapter could have found closure to this aspect and I wouldn't have felt let down by the ending.

She's done it again! A motley bunch of characters who pull at your hearstrings. What do you do if your psychic ability has left you just when you need it most? How do you get it back again? Do you want it back again?

This book is about a lady that has a site to see certain things. She loses her site when she finds her fiance in bed with another women. She then moves to Virgina and meets the man of her dreams but he is the talk of the town because his wife went missing two years prior. This was a real good book and alot of things are answered at the end of the book. You're just going to have to read it to find out if Lila and Joe end up together or not.

With the Harlequin Next series, I wonder why all women who start life over have to do it in a small town in the South. There's some sort of mystery, but that's not the bulk of the story. The best relationship to follow is between Lila and her best friend, Pepper. There's some romance, and some connecting with the romantic interest's young adult daughter. Worth a read for your bus/train commute to work.
