Kathleen is once again thrust into a murder investigation. I really enjoy the interaction between Kathleen and her cats, Hercules and Owen. As a cat owner...excuse me, as someone who is owned by cats, I totally get the converstions that occur between Kathleen and the little furries. I hope that the next book will progress a bit more wiht her relationship with Marcus. 4 stars

I absolutely love this series. There are places in the story that are so funny, the tears just ran, I was laughing so hard. The book is a good mystery, the characters are fun and easy to like. The cats are the key of course and a wonderful twist to the series. If you like cats, good humor and great people to like, these books are for you. The Roma and Eddie Sweeney portion just put me on the ground with laughter. GOOD, GOOD STUFF!!!! Kathleen and Marcus, about the hockey pucks during Winterfest. GREAT READ!!!!!

Book 2 in the Magical Cats series.
I enjoyed the story. I totally love these magical cats. Its not outrageous magic, just "sleight" magic. I had no idea who did the killing until it was revealed, couldn't even guess.

I did not read this book. I read the first one in this series and found the idea of cats with magical powers a little too far-fetched for me.
