This book is super for preschoolers. It has realistic illustrations. I liked the story for my kids. It was soothing as it went through many things, outside and inside the house, that were already "sleeping". I felt it made my kids use their imaginations to think of these objects sleeping. They talked about stores sleeping, grass sleeping, bugs, socks, shoes,books. soap, tub....
