This book was required for a Canadian fiction course in college. I bought it - skimmed it - and put it away on a shelf. I couldn't sell it back to the bookstore thanks to a change in professors for the next term, and 5 years later I can honestly say I've never had the urge to read it.

I believe it is a story about Natives on the Canadian plains and the hardships of the Canadian version of "reservation life" but I'm not entirely sure about that.
