Slang U
Author: Pamela Munro
Written by a UCLA linguistics professor and her class, and designed and illustrated by a leading graphic designer, Slang U. not only celebrates the English language at its liveliest, but also reveals what subjects are most on the minds of today's students--including a few that actually have nothing to do with either sex or beer.

Great compilation of past and current college slang. Though I never really said many of the phrases on a daily basis while I was in college, I did use some of the words highlighted in the book. It was fun to try out new words on my unsuspecting classmates and professors to see their reactions. Some are downright hilarious, especially when used in sentences. For example, "Hershey squirts": "She named her cat 'Hershey squirts' and I was like, 'Ew!'" Now, I think you can tell from that what that phrase means...

Funny and topical.
