Great story with wonderful characters. Spensa always had it rough. The man she looked up to, her father the pilot, was shot down by his own people for being a traitor. Throughout her life she was known as the traitor's daughter. That wasn't going to stop her from becoming a pilot though. And that would be what I loved about her... no matter how many knockdowns she received, she just kept going.
There was a lot of things going on in this book but at times, I did lose a bit of interest. Then it would pick up and I was back into it. The ending was superb and makes me want to grab the next book. Looking forward to reading it!
