In regards to Duane Allman and The Allman Brothers Band the author did a great job of sticking to the music and only filling in other personal details when they were relevant to the story. Lots of information pertaining to FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound recordings. Being from that area I really appreciated that. The book chronicles the brothers Allman from childhood and the ABB from its inception to the present even after Duane's untimely death. If you are a fan of the man or the band you will want to read this.
