I listened to the audio of Skinny Bitch. I have to say, this book IS a vegan book in disguise. The authors explain on their website that the title was a marketing ploy b/c they knew if women thought it was a vegan book, it might not sell as well. So deception aside, this book is the one that made me go vegetarian, effective immediately after listening to the slaughter house horror stories in chapter 4. In fact, I didn't even finish listening to the second half of the book because by that point I had gotten their point and didn't need to listen to the rest. I enjoy the healthier lifestyle, but I didn't need to hear the gruesome details of slaughter houses and the interviews with the workers.

As far as the cookbook goes, I have only made one recipe thus far. It is a vegan cookbook and I may swap it eventually because I've found other cookbooks that I think suit me better.
