2nd in the saga of another Indiana Jones-like character but Reilly writes it with edge of the seat excitement.

Some of it borders on the 'hard to read' just because it is about ancient history, planets, astrology, and things I know nothing about but it drew me in from the beginning because Reilly inputs likeable characters with enough story about them that makes it easy to stick with, I've read a couple with the 'scarecrow' character and that is another Indiana Jones-like character that is another exciting saga.

Another heart racing read, thundering along at high speed, panic on nearly every corner but always in the end, good vs. evil with good winning out! Whew!

Book two of a triology, although the first not needed to be read ahead of this one. A tad confusing with jumps in time forward and backward plus lots of diagrams to help visualize the historic sites visited and the texts being deciphered. One amazing escape after another and you can't presume who will survive. On to the next book, soon.
