Great story, terrific characters, really easy to follow ... the very last page left me puzzled but I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little treasure hunt!

This was fun, romantic book full of adventure. It's larger than life, and the heroine's exploits force you to suspend belief. But it's easy to do so and just go along for the ride. Dialog was witty and I found myself chuckling at many scenes. This is the author's first book, and I'm looking forward to her next.

Anachronistic. Really, the work "okay" did not exist in the 18th century and it was used in this book just one too many times. Yanked me out of the story, which was also on the thin side and implausible.
