This book is all about Vampire S&M. There was lots of blood, gore, kids getting killed, and yuckiness and it was totally NOT up my alley. I read all of it because I was curious to see how it ended and I am now curious about Wil and what happens to him. I doubt I will read more.
Very interesting to see her take on vampires.Erotic prose

A little confusing at first, the way it skips around between characters, and the ending was a little weak, but it was well worth the read.
The Marquis de Sade. The very name conjures images of decadence, torure and dark desires. His tastes remain the same, only for pronounced. And his desire for blood has become hunger.
I just couldn't get into this book and I LOVE vampire fiction. This book just wasn't for me. I gave it a chance but couldn't finish it.
Great beginning of the Marquis de Sade vampire series. It is a slight annoyance that the main character (de Sade) reverts to French in a few sentences (explained as when he can't think of the English word) and there are few translations given. But, incentive to pick up a French to English dictionary :)
