While I thought I would enjoy this as a humorous book, I only laughed maybe once. Wilder-Taylor is anti-attachment parenting, not especially positive about breastfeeding, and I just found her kind of annoying. I just finished the book because it was an easy read. And yes, previous reviewers--I do have a sense of humor. It obviously is just not the same as hers. And the language is pretty bad. If you are offended by cursing, I would stay away from this one.

I loved this book and I wish I would have written it because she believes everything about parenting as I do!! Great book if you have a good sense of humor.

Charming and entertaining - several lines were read aloud to the daddy-in-waiting - but not a "how-to" by any means. I agree with a lot of her points of view of mommy-dom, which makes it easy to swallow. A fun book for the first-time mom.

This book was good. Be wary though, if your not a cynical smart arse, you might find this offensive. Not I though, it was funny.
