Finally, Sebastian's story. I loved it. The thing I love most about Sebastian is his relationship with his daughter, Peep. I wonder if she'll write a book about her when she comes of age.

Disappointing...Suzanne Enoch went way off track here. The fraud plot is crazy, Josefina comes out of nowhere and never redeems herself. Sebastian is taken in by her and doesn't even really have a lot of time for interaction with Peep. Should have been Anne!!! Sebastian deserves better.

I've always enjoyed this author's books, but this one is quite a disappointment -- the heroine is too bratty, the plot (whatever it is), too boring. I didn't make it past page 60. Fortunately, the book has a long waiting list and I can unload it quickly.

This book was a slog uphill to get into it. Like the other reviewers, I was not crazy about the fraud scheme or the bratty criminal-supporting heroine. I really liked the hero Sebastian, his daughter Peep, and his extended family. The "unbelievable" plotline is a bit funny - the fraud plot is somewhat based on a true story, where truth is stranger than fiction. If you like the other books in the Griffin faimly series, you may want to read this one just to get the latest info and adventure.

Great tension and well matched h/h- the eldest of the Melbourne sibs gets his comeuppance with some fraud and intrigue. Fun!

What a dog! Hard to believe that this was written by the author of "England's Perfect Hero" and "Always A Scoundrel". I hated the heroine right from the first page she appeared. I felt sorry for Sebastian getting stuck with the b***h, because I enjoyed his character in the other books about his family, especially his interactions with his daughter. I agree with the other reviewers that he deserved better. I can't tell you if the book improved later on because I gave up on it.

Part 2: OK, I went back and finished it, and the second half was a bit better, mostly because of clever plotting and the appearance of Sebastian's family members who I loved from earlier books in this series. Heroine redeemed herself somewhat, but I still can't identify with someone so lacking in character.

How utterly disappointing. I have loved every book in this series so far and was so looking forward to Sebastion's story. It fell way short. I hated the heroine from the moment she slapped Sebastion. I have never detested a heroine as much as I did her. I had a hard time finishing the book because of that fact. Luckily the first 3 books were good enough to redeem the series. I gave this book 2 and a half stars.

Final book in the Griffin series. I enjoyed reading this series. You don't have to read them in order, however for this final book I think it really helps if you have. Enjoyed it.

I avoided reading this book for quite awhile due to the bad reviews. I finally decided to give it a try after re-reading books 1 and 3, and I am so glad that I did!
I really enjoyed this book. The heroine was haughty and difficult at first, but there is an obvious reason for this in the story, and I feel that she redeemed herself. I never really cared for Sebastian's character in the previous books, but I enjoyed him in this story. He became human, rather than a superior, regal figure. I felt that Sebastian and Josephine were well matched, actually, and that the book was well written.

I like the book but it tends to lag in places and draw out the plot a little to long for me.
