They were twins, but they were different as night and day. Harry was quiet and easygoing. His brother, Barry, was outgoing, arrogant and sometimes even cruel.
But when they went to explore the abandoned farmhouse of their eccentric ucle Ambrose, all that changed. At the farmhouse-where things mysteriously disappeared and animals suddenly aged and died-time seemed to go made, hours rushing by like seconds.
Then Harry and Barry discovered a secret passage to another universe. They knew that somehow their relationship had been altered forever. But was the deadly force they encountered great enough to destroy their entire world?

Never read this book though it sounds good. Here's the summary from the back of the book:

Barry and Harry Krasner are identical twins, but thats where the resemblance ends. Barry's more athletic, more agressive --and he's the one who suggests that they hous sit their great uncles deserted farm. Harry hopes that it will bring the two of them closer. And it does --because there is something chilling about the farmhouse, something that makes the locals stay far away. The twins are sure that the locked shed on the property is the reason why --but what they find inside is far more horrible than their worst nightmare.
