This book really grabbed me from the beginning. I had never read anything by this author before, but I was pleasantly suprised. This book is the first book in the Sarah Armstrong series. Sarah is a single mother is also a Texas Ranger. There was alot of suspense, a teeny bit of romance, and some sweet mother-daughter moments. All in all, a great read. I will definitely be looking for the next book in the series as soon as it comes out.

Kathryn Casey draws upon her experience as a True Crime writer to write this realistic fictional crime story. The plot is believable and the characters likable. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I absolutely loved this book, reminds me alot of the Joanna Brady series by JA Jance. I cannot wait to read more of this series. A strong female law enforcement officer, some love, a loss of husband and a whole lot of thrills written just the way I like it, thrills, good solid ending, just enough intrgiue to keep the series going.
