Part one of an outstanding trilogy of Christian allegory
This is part of a Trilogy, and a wonderful beginning. It is a parable of God and Satan and the Great Controversy soon to end. Hauntingly beautiful phrasing througout. Sticks in your mind as it should.
Miller presents his story in a lovely poetry narrative. It begins with the creation of the world, to the man sent to save the world, and his final martyrdom. While this does have more of a Christian flavor to it, the stories of martyrs can be found all over the world and in legends everywhere.
It's so beautiful it actually made me cry.

A lyrical version of the message of Christ that will add a poetic dimension to your understanding of life of Christian discipleship. Almost didn't give it up!
