Best book I've read in a long, long time and I read a LOT! This is the first novel from writer Lisa Dale. I savored every page. I hope we'll be seeing more from her very soon. The characters in this book are so real and you'll find yourself wishing you could live on Natch Lane and visit Grumble Knot and Tarpaper. A++++ read.

I thought this book was very "slow-paced"... I found myself having a hard time connecting to the main character and thought she was too bitter. In my opinion, the ending left a lot to be desired as well, and the romance was extremely under-developed. I guess I was disappointed overall with this book.
