Yet another great book from Stolarz in the "candle" serries. All te gang is back (stacey, Amber, Drea, PJ & Chad) and Stacey's new man Jacob. They are all celebrating their last summer together when - you guessed it - Stacey starts having nightmares about a girl who is in trouble. Then she meets Clara a younger girl who seems to have her eye on every guy near the beach including PJ CHAD AND JACOB!!! Will Stacey be able to save Clara? Is Clara worth saving? And what happens to Jacob? I really enjoyed reading to find out and what happened at the end is a real shocker!

Whether you are a teen or an adult, this is a great book to read. It exudes confidence and the freedom we all want but we never really get. And how a little magic, not the mystical kind but the magic we all have, can make us secure and help others, and how wonderful it is to trust your own gut.

i love these books. their very creative and interesting, and i especially like the 3rd and 4th books. silver is for secrets is one of my favorites out of the series because the plot twists in so many different ways. their not the crappy vampire stuff that's out now, so it's actually about witchcraft stuff that is really fun to read.

I seem to be stuck in mediocre book rut. This is the third book I have read that falls into the "It was just okay" category. I read the first two books in this series and really liked them. So far I think this was the weakest of the three.

In this book Stacey and her friends are celebrating graduation by spending the summer at a beach house. When they meet one of their neighbors, Clara, Stacey starts having premonitions that she believes are of Clara's death. As with the first couple books Stacey is racing against the clock to solve the mystery behind Clara before Stacey's dreams come true.

This book wasn't nearly as suspenseful or creepy as the first two. It was still engaging but didn't have the drive the first two books did. The vast majority of this book is focused on the characters not trusting each other and the girls being pissed because they think their guys are cheating on them. Of course, god forbid the characters talk to each other instead of whine. The whole keeping of secrets between Jacob and Stacey is bizarre and went against their characters completely.

I won't put any spoilers in but this book is not at all wrapped up like the first two. It definitely leaves you hanging in the middle of the story. I disliked the change in pattern from the first couple books and thought it was annoying. I mean really was Stolarz worried about the last book selling?

If you are really into the series I would read this book but just know that it is the weakest of the set so far...

What can I say... These books just keep getting better & better!

In Silver is for Secrets, Stacey, her boyfriend Jacob, Drea, Chad, Amber & PJ take a summer vacation at a cottage on the beach! No more stress, secrets or stalkers. You would think this should be quite the fun getaway after what happened almost a year ago but once again Stacey starts to have nightmares again... They predict the cruel death of Clara, A mysterious girl with a secret... To top it all off Jacob, who is the only one that really understands Stacey's magic, is keeping secrets, too. Is he betraying Stacey's trust or protecting her from revenge & tragedy?

Soon they come to find out this isn't the vacation they thought they had in mind!

So how does the story end??? You must read & find out!

I honestly enjoyed this book ALOT! It is just like the others. It keep you wanting more, guessing & it is still very suspencful. I would recommend this book to anyone. I would also recommend readin them in order to!

Great book & once again Laurie Faria Stolarz does an outstanding job with her story telling & how she goes into to really good detail!!!

I wanted to be mad in this book at Jacob for keeping secrets but as it turns out it was nothing like what I thought it would be. Things get really dark and twisted in this book the 3rd in the series. Unexpected turnouts that will keep you reading.
