Celinda Ingram is a high priced matchmaker with a terrible secret to keep. When a policewoman and a private investigator show up in her office one day, Celinda is very worried. Turns out that the harmless relic she purchased the previous day from a run down antique shop is actually a priceless stolen relic and the local guild boss who owns it wants it back. Too bad that Celinda's dust bunny runs off with the relic. Davis Oakes, the private investigator is not going to let Celinda out of his sight until the dust bunny returns the relic. Celinda is in danger from the people who originally stole the relic and thought it to be safely hidden in the second hand shop. Another light, fun read set in Harmony. Loved the antics of the dust bunnies!

Latest in the Harmony series under Jayne Castle. Love the mix of fantasy future and psychic powers. Celinda is trying to recover from a bad experience with a Guild leader from Frequency, and decides to relocate to Cadence and start over. Four months into a new job, and the Guild finds her again, by way of PI Davis Oakes. Nice read.

I love this series but was a bit disappointed with this one. Jayne Castle is still one of my favorites, though! Very dust bunny heavy so if you like them, you'll love this book.

Another of Castle's tales set on the planet Harmony. Has some sneaky plot elements. Fun!

From back cover: Fleeing a lurid scandal, matchmaker Celinda Ingram arrived in Cadence City desperate for a new start. Known for her strong para-resonator abilities, she is able to match up clients by reading their psi waves. It's this talent that sets her body tingling when security specialist Davis Oakes shows up at her office.
A formidable psychic himself, Davis is trying to track down a powerful relic that Celinda supposedly bought as a toy for her pet dust bunny. Trying to wrest the ruby red object from the suspicious duo nearly drains Davis of the energy he'll need to keep his growing desiere for Celinda in Check--and to keep her safe from those who will do anything to possess the relic.

A quick read for paranormal romance fans, set in the futuristic world of Harmony where the people, descendants of Old Earth, have developed psychic abilities. There is some suspense and some small connections to characters that we have already met. The stars of the book are the dust bunnies and their "romance" is the most interesting thing in the book. If you like this series, try Robin D. Owens Celta's Heart Mates series.

Celinda Ingrams is the leading authority on Covenant Marriages, which are similar to old marriages of the ton really, people marrying for the advantage of both parties. Only, her matchmaking ended in trouble, so now she is flying low - or so she hopes. Her dust bunny convinces her she needs a toy, only the toy turns out to be something else entirely. It's one of the relics left over by the mysterious alien race that once lived on Harmony. The relic was stolen from the Guild at Cadence, and the Guild boss is determined to see it fetched back. To the aim, he employs Davis Oakes to aid in it's return. Davis owns and runs Oakes security, but he is also a Ghost Hunter. He has rare talents, even for a ghost hunter, and also has secrets, both which he tries to keep under his hat. Readers won't be surprised when his psi clicks with Celinda. Celinda is not too thrilled with the prospect, as all this brings her too close to the Guild again, which threatens to bring out all the old secrets she has been trying to avoid. As the pair becomes a target, they are force to join their psi talents in order to stay one step ahead of the person who will stop at nothing to possess the relic.
