Fun light read.
# 7 in the Jane Jeffrey mystery series. Great cozy!
Jane is a witty single mom who investigates the death of an attorney when he is killes by a falling rack of hams at the deli her son works part time in
Jane & Shelley find themselves mixed up in another murder when a loudmouth attorney is found dead in the neighborhood deli where Jane's son works. I enjoy this series, but lately I've become a little bored with the predictable storylines. However, I like the characters and especially the relationship between Jane & Shelley.
I loved this book though it was slow at first! After a few pages, I read and could not put it down until I finished!!
I'm working my way through the series in order... funny! Good beach books. Not terribly intricate mysteries, but the characters feel like next-door neighbors.

Pompous, pig-headed attorney Robert Stonecipher is a major pain, so no one is terribly upset when he's killed by a falling rack of hams at the new deli. But when Stonecipher's obnoxious employee meets and equally appropriate end, Jane knows the fat's really in the fire. Jill Churchill is witty as always.
Funny, funny book

If you are hooked on this series of Jane Jeffry Mysteries then you might like it. I think it is a poor version of some of the better mystery series. I much prefer the Goldilocks series - I forget that author. Jane is boring and the book was predictable - the worst sin for a mystery.
another who dunit for jane who not only is a sleuth but a homemake,pta/church and community chairperson
This was another great Jane Jeffry mystery book! Interesting plot and wonderful ending.
Why did someone push a rack of hams over on a person who was already dead? Another Jan Jeffry mystery featuring all of the characters we've come to know and love--Jane, her 3 children Mike, Todd, and Katie, her boyfriend, Mel, and her sidekick Shelley.
Single mom Jane Jeffry's investigates a murder, when a pompous, pig-headed attorney is mashed by a falling rack of hams at the new deli where Jane's son works part-time. (Author Jill Churchill is the winner of the 'Anthony Award' and the 'Macavity Mystery Readers Award'.)
Silly mystery
