Merlin finds himself trapped in a shadow world that resembles Wonderland and must find a way to get out and find out who has been trying to kill him. A fun read, but you really have to read every book before this one to get the full effect.

This book held interesting turns! There are still many questions left unanswered, but slowly more and more pieces are fitting together as being solved. Another cliffhanger of an ending, and it is hard to believe that there are only two books left!

The Chronicles of Amber are a classic. They are unique in the manner in which Roger Zelazny combines the feel of the knights with fantasy with a touch of James Bond thrown in.
The First five books are great. By this second series, however, the books get stranger, shorter and more convoluted. As part of the Chronicles of Amber, however, they are well worth the read, especially seeing how short they are and how fast they can be read.
