I only read the jd robb and mary blayney stories the others didn't interest me.
with possion in death it picks up where the full length book ended, with a BBQ at the estate home of roark and eve.
the story by blayney was cute but more fluffy, typical
regency story.
I wish the publisher would stop trying to force feed the other authors when they publish jd robb. it's a waste of money and resources. several in death short stories might be more fun. would also like to see more omnibus type books of the first stories.

Yes, I agree with previous review. I only get these books for the J D Robb...do not read any of the other authors, I tried back several ones ago, but had to put it down..I love the J D Robb IN DEATH series with Eve & Roarke and all other characters. I do admit it's a waste to purchase for just a short story, but I keep doing it anyway because of J D Robb. However, I do agree fully it would be nice to incorporate several IN DEATH "shorties" in a full book edition. Sounds like a great idea.
Although I bought this book for the J.D.Robb (Eve Dallas series)story, I read the whole book and was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the other ghostly stories. I may have to pick up other books by Patricia Gaffney and Ruth Ryan Langan.
JD Robb is my very favorite author, she can make you sit on the edge of your seat and you can't put the book down .love this book
The continuing saga of Lt. Eve Dallas always makes me want to read a book. The other stories just added to the value of the book.
