This bk didn't work that well. The hero's reasoning for seeking revenge on the heroine are over the top, and then he can't see the truth when it's staring him in the face.

a man decides to look up an old flame, seeking revenge. only, she has an adorable little girl now and he can't bring himself to be as cold and calculating as he had planned....he had planned to buy the bank that holds the lien against her home and foreclose because she is having difficulty making her payments... but once he see's her again, and her little girl, he decides to help by offering her a dream job....but why is she so hesitant? is there some secret she is hiding?

this was sort of a dark and emotional story... a good read... christmas theme
