Writing and characters were supurb! Definitely more on the romance side than the historical fiction side, and some heavy sprinkling of deus ex machina, and the plot described on the back only emerges in the second half of the book, but, if romance is your thing, definitely worth a read.

This offers a great look into the life of Shakespeare kind of like "Skakespeare in Love". Who knows the ammount of truth in it.
